Aux Champs-Élysées

"Aux Champs-Élysées

À midi ou à minuit
Il y a tout ce que vous voulez

For our last day in Paris, we strolled down the Champs-Élysées.  Filled with high-end fashion shops and tourists, the Champs-Élysées was a must for the four of us girls.  We started at the Arc de Triomphe and walked all the way down.

Definitely a sign of Napoleon Complex

Thankfully, we were blessed with the most perfect weather.  It was sunny and breezy, which was great since we ended walking for the entire day.  After walking for a bit, we finally saw a street sign, and pictures needed to be taken!

When we finally saw Ladurée, we ran across the street to go inside.  Unfortunately for us, the line was way too long so we opted not to have any.  (Plus, who needs Ladurée when you have McDonald's macarons??)  I'm sorry that we missed eating Ladurée macarons in Paris, but it's definitely going on the itinerary for the next trip.

At Pitchfork, one of our friends asked Alison to hold something for him, and he never ended up collecting it at the end of the night, so we decided to go to the Louvre again to meet up and reunite him with items.  However, he ended up not showing, so Alison, Kat, Sidney, and I just spent a good hour exploring the area around the Louvre some more.

Louvre Levine!
We stumbled upon another side of the museum, and the lions reminded me of the New York Public Library on Fifth Avenue.  Of course, since no one was around, Sidney and Alison decided to climb on top of the lion.

Action Shot: Gare de Lyon

We ended the day by grabbing our stuff and heading to the Gare de Lyon to catch a train to Zurich.  After eating about three dinners each, we finally boarded the train and were on our way to Switzerland.
