Have A Party!

If my first week in London was great, it was nothing compared to my first weekend.

It was our friend Alison's birthday, so we decided to throw her a party.  Sidney and I went to the local supermarket and stocked up on a ton of party supplies.

All of our friends joined us for an outdoor barbecue at Sidney's house.  We had burgers and a bottle of champagne in lieu of cake.  Every few minutes, planes flew over the backyard on their way to Heathrow.  It made us all reminiscent about our flights into London, even if they were only a few days before.

After a quick nap, we went into Central London for a great night out.  Sidney, her friend from London, and I went out to a club called Cirque Le Soir.  It was... interesting.  It had a circus theme, with a photobooth and popcorn and weird looking carnies.  The dancing carnies were definitely the most freaky.

Photobooth fail or win?

We completely missed the camera when we tried the photobooth for the first time.  We decided they were artsy and Gossip Girl-esque, so we kept them.  It was definitely a fun-filled Friday, and if this is any indication about how the rest of the weekends are going to go, I am more excited than ever.
